Serena’s Headshots/Navarre Beach Photographer

Serena is a sales rep for Lia Sophia. If you haven’t heard of Lia Sophia’s jewelry, you should really check them out! I love it!
Serena and I decided on the butterfly house in Navarre, Fl to meet up for the headshots and I don’t think we could have chosen a better place! The flowers were in full bloom and just gorgeous! Serena isn’t too bad looking herself! :)

I hope you enjoy the view! ;)

Puddle Jumping/Pensacola Photographer

Posted on February 27, 2013

I was coming home from the grocery store after this huge rainfall we had in Navarre over the weekend. Two of the neighbor kids were dressed in super hero outfits and splashing and jumping in the puddles together! It was so cute, I had to run inside for my camera! I love their adorable little smiles with missing teeth and their giddiness at splashing one another. Little did I know that their parents had no idea they were in the puddles and the came out of their house none to happy with the kiddos. OOPS! Good thing they were pleased to see these cute pictures and hopefully it got these cuties out of trouble!

Welcome to the World Little Collin/Fort Walton Beach Maternity and Labor Photographer

Posted on July 17, 2012

I was so very blessed to able to be a part of Natalie and Rich’s labor and delivery of their gorgeous baby boy, Collin.  What a miracle birth is.  There is something about seeing someone else go through it, that just amazes you!

I met Natalie over a year ago when she called me wanting me to do a session of her twin baby girls ( yes, she has two year old twins in addition to the new little guy).  We have become great friends and she has hired me for more photos of the girls, family photos, maternity photos and now labor photos!  She is a great client!  I just love when I meet clients and we instantly have a connection!  She told me she wanted me to do birth photos and I couldn’t have been more thrilled!  The dr. and nurses were so wonderful.  They were very accommodating and were so kind and helpful.

Thank you so much for letting me share in precious Collins birth!  I will never forget it!

When I arrived, Natalie had just gotten the epidural and was feeling great!

texting and laughing and most importantly updating her Facebook! lol

Then the nausea set in from the epidural.

I love her allergies! Pickles and Shellfish! Pickles?? Are you kidding me!

say “Cheese”

Are we there yet?? Yep! It’s time!

Wow! The contractions were off the chart! I think we are having a baby real soon!

Time to give up the cell!

Laughter is the best medicine!

It’s getting real now!

Rich was so supportive and sweet!

Is that a little excitement I see?

Time to push!

Here he is! Introducing Mr. Collin Edward. Weighing in at 6 lbs even and 19 inches long.

Tears of Joy!

Hey little dude, meet Mom and Dad!

What a feeling of awe.

Time to get checked out by the dr

Leave me alone!

He is so perfect!

They are so tiny!

Getting his foot printed

All ready for Mom to nurse.

But first Daddy needed to check out “little dude” as they call him.

The whole family (minus her two older daughters that live in Texas)! Can you believe she has had 5 kids and is still so tiny!

Love you guys! Thank you for letting me share in this awesome day!

Jason and Lynn’s Destination Wedding/Fort Walton Beach Wedding Photographer

Posted on July 8, 2012

Jason and Lynn were married June 10, 2012 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fort Walton Beach, FL.  They are in the military and both live in California.  They were engaged at Seoul Tower in Korea where they met while on Tour.  See my post on their engagement for more details on that.  It’s a sweet story.

It was a dreary and rainy day, but that didn’t stop us from having an amazing wedding.  It looked like a monsoon outside but just after dinner the rain died off and we were able to go out and get some of the beach photos that Lynn was coveting.  Lynn chose Sterling roses like they had in the movie Bed of Roses,  one of her favorite movies.  Their first dance was a Just Like Heaven remake by the Watson Twins.  The Father and Daughter dance was so precious with Lynn and her Dad serenading each other with Daydream Believer by the Monkeys.  Towards the end of the night, the DJ (who wore a kilt, by the way) chose some of the guys to dress up and sing YMCA.

I enjoyed being a part of the wedding so much and it just makes my heart swell to see two people so obviously in love.  God Bless you guys and I hope you enjoy your honeymoon in Ireland and track down some of those Raftkill Gypsies!

Special thanks to Sabrina Hull for second shooting

Lynn and Jason’s Engagement/Fort Walton Beach Wedding Photographer

Posted on June 10, 2012

Lynn contacted me via email a few months ago about photographing her wedding on May 9, 2012.  Since she lives in California and so does her fiancé, we didn’t get a chance to meet face to face until the engagement session the week before her wedding.   Jason, I could tell, is so enraptured by Lynn.  It is so precious to me to see two people so truly in love.

I love the story of their proposal.  Lynn and Jason met while they were both stationed in Korea.  They are both active duty in the Army.  They went on their first date to a place called Seoul Tower.  It is a tower (obviously :) ) that overlooks all of Seoul, Korea.  They have a saying that if you attach a padlock to the railing at the top, you will be in love forever.  So, on their first date, they purchased a padlock in the gift shop and attached it together.  Months later, Jason took Lynn back to the same spot.  When they got there, the railing was gone.  Lynn had no idea Jason was proposing and she kept saying she wanted to leave, she was hot, hungry, tired, etc.  All of a sudden, Jay drops to one knee and proposes!  And, as they say, the rest is history!

I love these two.  They were a match made in heaven.  May God Bless you each and every day and may you live a very long and happy life together.  Be safe kids!  :o)

Jamie and Bryant and their two gorgeous kids, Austin and Mary Kate, came to visit us from Texas.  They said they take a trip every May for their birthday’s (Jamie’s was on the day of our session), which are all close together.  They have an RV and travel around for a week or so visiting places and family they want to see.  Austin loves fishing and spends a lot of time catching redfish at home, so of course, they had to take a deep sea fishing trip while here!  Mary Kate is a little doll with such beautiful eyes and hair!  I loved that Austin and Mary Kate are almost the exact age of my kids.  It was so nice to see two kids that actually get along and don’t fuss and argue like my two and Austin and Mary Kate are home schooled and together every day!  I think I may need to get some pointers from Jamie!  I enjoyed this session so much and I hope to see hear from you the next time you are in town!!!  Enjoy the rest of your vacation!’
